Wonderful Counselor – The Practical Nature of the Humanity of Christ
Speaker: Kris Brackett (our missionary in Croatia)
A lack of proper understanding of the humanity of Christ undermines the sanctification process in the life of the believer. Therefore, it is important for every Christian to have a clear and firm grasp of this doctrine so that they might walk with Jesus in closer fellowship, more carefully observe His glory, and reflect His character in greater ways as they strive to follow in His steps.
This seminar will cover topics such as:
The importance and practicality of the humanity of Christ
Common misunderstandings about Christ’s humanity
Key Bible passages on the humanity of Christ
Key theological terms related to this doctrine
Applications of the humanity of Christ for spiritual growth and counseling
Schedule: Saturday, August 25th 8:30am-noon
Location: Church Office at 110 Village Trail, suite 110 in Woodstock

"Please join us for a time of fellowship and training. We want to thank all of our nursery and childcare volunteers for a great year! Even if you're coming off the rotation for next year, please join us for breakfast and coffee.
This is considered a mandatory training for any nursery volunteers or children's Sunday School teachers who will serve in the 2018/2019 year. This includes check in desk volunteers and those on the sub list. We will be sharing updated information about policies, procedures, safety, equipment, and the Planning Center Services App we use for scheduling.
Childcare will not be available during the training, but the nursery rooms will be set up and available for a parent or grandparent to entertain children.
If you have any questions you can contact Nicole Payne or Nina Dofflemyer."
